Macro for allowing access for users to click buttons when sheet is protected

    Hi Everyone,

I have a file which is attached. You will see the report page and then another sheet that has 2 macros. Ideally what I would like is to apply a custom view to a macro. In this case I''d like to focus on the custom view "Last View". I've created a button for it. I'd like to have it where when you click on the Last View Button, we see the Custom View "Last View".

Secondly, I have a second macro code that I used to use for another file where when the sheet was protected to the password hoffstate, the users would only be able to enter information in cells that were filled in yellow. If they were not, they wouldn't be able to input any values in the cell. I thought it could be useful for a new one I am trying to create. I would like it where if the password is still password protected to hoffstate, the user would be able to access the buttons to be able to select different custom views.

If someone can please help me with this, that would be terrific.

    Thanks

Well, you're talking about macros but that is a .xlsx.

Either way, you can just password protect the sheet and use ActiveX command buttons. You are able to click those even when the sheet is protected. Program the cmdButton_click event to do whatever you want it do. Good luck!
