Writing to a text file

Is it possible with Excel VBA to write to an online text file? I am using a text document to store the next sequential number for invoice numbering. This text document is stored in OneDrive. My current code works well when the file is on a local or network drive, but it is thrown for a loop by the "https://..."

How can I rewrite this to accommodate a URL with forward slashes?
