Generic macro to adjust the source data for a pivot table

I am trying to create a generic macro to get a pivot table (maybe all pivot tables in a worksheet) and then find the data source for that table then adjust the data range down or up if new rows have been added.

I started on the task and then I found that when I got the "datasource" it returned be in RC format which doesn't seem very useful.

Maybe I could use another brain to help me out here.

the idea is that I would put it in a tool bar (or right click menu) and users could update the pivot tables by clicking on it as opposed to going to the source and extending it.
