GetPivotData()

I need a code so I can easily extract data from a pivot table.
For some reason, however, I keed getting an error. In its simplest form the code is:

I get the error "Run-time error '1004': Application-defined or object-defined error".

Any suggestions for what I do wrong? I have used a similar setting in other workbooks without problems.
I'm very thankful for any help.

"Sales" needs to be the exact name of a field added to the Values of the Pivot Table

Thanks for replying. Any other suggestions if "Sales" is specified exactly as in the pivot?

Do you have multiple pivot tables in your workbook? Then maybe the index of the pivot table is incorrect for the table that contains that value or the table is on a different sheet or...

And make sure that the Sales is not a row or column field.
