it's supposed to save 1 time on instance of b2 changing to 1, linked to live data. saves repeatedly and corrupts file.

If you are seeking help to solve a problem with existing code your title should give some idea of what that problem is, otherwise we would have thousands of posts asking "what's wrong with this code." In your case I would suggest something like "Code saves too many times then corrupts file"
