Dear Experts,
I needed your advice on how to handle this situation that breaks my report.
The situation:
I do receive a file from our planning team on a monthly basis, which i then feed into my macro solution in order to create reports that i can then forward to my end-users. However, i started noticing lately that my reports are showing errors or are bringing in the wrong values and so i traced it to the fact that the planning team had moved some columns around thereby breaking my own formulas that depends on some of the columns that had moved.
So my questions are:
- How can i handle these changes since the maintenance of the source file is outside of my control?
- Is there a way i can create a formula that will always look for the column(s) that moved?
I will appreciate any suggestion(s) that i can run with to modify my reports!
