Need to turn shape into a ListBox.

Thirty years at this, and a "first" in my experience.

User does not want the "boring" rectangular ListBox used by the rest of the world, they want the choice in a "rounded rectangle"!

Not a clue how to embed data into a shape, linked to a variable source, or then how to code whatever is "selected" so it appears in the relevant cell?

Suggestions and ideas welcome and valued, as ever

I guess that you could take a standard list box and group it with a slightly larger rounded rectangle with suitable colouring.

The good news is your approach works, but the bad news getting the "fills" to blend seamlessly is a nightmare.
.
As it could take an aeon to sort out, the User is going to have to accept this is a "quirk too far".

If I run an Excel training course I might add this as an "overnight" exercise, and see who comes down with red eyes and a haunted expression. . . .
