    Unwanted warning

I use the procedure below to fill tables with values rather than formulae.

    Usually this works.
However I now have a situation where the following warning comes up on each iteration

"Do you want to replace the contents of the destination cells." Yes/No

What circumstances must I have created to cause this warning to appear, when usually it does not, and how can I stop it?

Does using Application.DisplayAlerts = False at the start of your code and switching it back to True at the end work?

    Badlyspelledbouy,
Thanks for your interest. Application.DisplayAlerts = False does stop the message from appearing. I am curious as to why, after years of using that little procedure without the message, should it now start appearing. In trying to discover what was going on I found that there are some circumstances where I can create an unending loop, would this cause the message?

Do you have any event code that this might be triggering?

Not easy to diagnose without seeing the workbook to ascertain exactly what's happening.

If it is not immediately obvious it is not worth anybody's time digging deep. But thanks for your interest

    Hello j_Southern,

If it is not immediately obvious it is not worth anybody's time digging deep.
Personally I don't think such a comment is warranted.

Nothing is that immediately obvious when other Code/s might be at play.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Maybe then we would be able to provide you with a ready solution.

    Regards.
