Hidding/unhidding rows

Hi guys,

I wonder if you Excel wizards could help. I have a scenario where I need to hide/unhide rows when the user validates/unvalidates an (checkbox) option.

For example:

user ticks a box = a hidden row below appears with an extra checkbox.
user unticks a box = the extra rows below hide away the extra options.

Can this be done?

Yes - but depends on the type of checkbox. Can be an ActiveX control or a Forms control or even a cell formatted using the Martlett font which has a checkbox character.

Post a small sample of your workbook with anonymous data (if necessary) and an example of the type of checkboxes you are using.

Is this a list of 'static' questions or will the number vary?

The top level questions will be static although there will more of them in the final document.

If you can live with an alternative using Double clicks on Col C to select/clear, try the attached.

Other than that, you will need code to hide/unhide various checkboxes when rows are hidden/displayed and that gets messy.
