    Question R1C1 notation in a FormulaArray

    the formula array treats RC8 and RC9 as the actual cell.
    Could you please give an insight as to why it is doing this.

    Because there is no way of knowing whether that formula is R1C1 or A1 style. If you want to force R1C1, use:

    Another possibility to get the syntax correct, maybe:
    Record a macro whilst typing the Formula manually into the sheet, ( Make sure you type it in in the correct CSE way )
