VBA script that takes a formatted table and adds it to an Access table

    Greetings internet,

Today i am on the hunt. On the hunt for what you ask? The illusive unicorn that is Efficiency. Ok enough of that here is what is going on.

I have a script that pulls information from a program and formats that information into a Table. The info is accumulative phone times for agents in a call center. records are pulled every day for each agent that was on the phones. as you might be able to guess after pulling this information for almost 3 months the file is getting kinda large. This is a report that Supervisors need to use and with company equipment even the 6000KB is a struggle. The dream is to be able to run a macro that will pull and format the information put that information into Access and have the pivot table use the Access Data Base. As well as having it run as well as it can on the terrible terrible computer that this multi million dollar company has graced us with.

    Any help is welcome

    Regards, DigBick

Here is a program I wrote a long time ago (the fact that it is *.xls should be a indicator as to how long ago). It appends data from an Excel sheet to an Access Database. You should be able to modify it for your needs.
    Attached Files Attached Files
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
