Advanced Filter with dates

Hi everyone,

I have developed a database where I want to be able to filter certain entries. The attached Excel shows the following problem:

From C6:AL6 one can specify the filter criterias. When I want to filter for a certain period, like now for 01.3.16 until 31.03.16, he doesn't find the two entries in the "Data" sheet that he should. Instead Excel only finds the entry from 22.4.16. You can try it out by clicking on the button "Filter Data" in the Interface sheet.

I just can't understand why this is the case. Many many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi etaver,
I would not do it the way you have done it, but, it might work, I'm not sure.
However, the filter criteria will not work since you search criteria in this section does not know what to really look for:

The receipt date is > that the numeric value of the date and is it < than the numeric value of the date, that is never possible

Try that, I got two records as a result.
