I'm sure the title is confusing, but I wasn't sure how to say it.
Essentially I have raw data with multiple metrics in columns, and dates in rows.
- In the pivot table I am creating a group of months and years from the date.
- I want the rows to be months and I want the years to be columns.
- I want the metrics for each year to show side-by-side, which works fine if I have one metric.
If I have more than one metric it places all the metrics for that year (2015), then all the metrics for 2016. Is it possible to get it to show each metric side-by-side for both years? I thought about moving the metrics to the column, then years underneath, but the column headers become the values of the metrics rather than the metric names.
I know I can have the years as a row, under month, and that's the route I will go if necessary, but I would prefer them to be in columns.
Thanks.
David
