Move Row to another table based on cell value

Hi all

I have been looking for a solution for this particular problem.
I have found numerous links and have tried them to no avail.

This is what I am trying to acheive.
1. Move a row from one table to another based on the values in a column.
I have two tables on top of each other with 2 rows inbetween, both formatted as tables.
The top table has a fixed number of rows.
I would like to move the data from the top table to the bottom table depending on the value on one of the columns.
When rows are moved the table length should not change as it has a link to a formula in another sheet.

2. Move a row from one sheet to another based on the values in a column.
I would like to move the data from a table in one sheet to another sheet based on the cell value.

I have tried advanced filter x2. 1, copies to another location and 2, without the copy criteria so it deletes the row. but this is causing some issues for me.

I have tried a vba but it comes back with an error 13 and it is removing the row and pasting it on existing data?!

Hello Janarthenan,

This shouldnt be too difficult to solve with vba. Some questions for you

1. If you MOVE a row from table 1, to table 2, how can the table length remain the same? Do you instead need to COPY the row to table 2, and delete the non--formula cells in table 1?
2. What are the criteria for moving cells? eg. Is cell B6 says "Move Down" then move the selected row from table 1 etc
3. What are the workbook, worksheets, table, cell references you are working with?

Seeing the data would be beneficial, are you able to post samples or the workbooks?

Hi Caleeco

1. Basically I would like a row to be inserted at the end when a row is moved.
2. I have created a List via Data Validation and when RIP or Discharged is selected the row should move down, When Moved to another place is selected it should go to the appropriate sheet.

The table length refers to the number of beds available, the formula in Dashboard counts the empty spaces within the length and gives a vacancy number.
I will do an autosort vba so the empty spaces stay at the bottom.

I have attached the workbook I have removed the names for confidentiality.

Hi All,

Is this at all possible?! Or should I ditch it and try something else - I am open to other options.

I have managed to move rows from top table to bottom table, but this reduces the table length.

I am Still Unable to move from one sheet to another as when I move the row gets copied to the last line of the second table.

Maybe I should try Side by Side..
