    Exclamation Shared workbook

I created a form with a button that copies the data to another sheet. This file will be used by several users. They update the tracker real time. We tested it out but the data are not being updated all at once. If user 1 is done and the data input is in line 14 for example and user 2 data input is in line 14 also (ideally user 2 data input should be in line 15)

I need to be able to record all data input by all users.

I also need to hide the sheet where the data are being copied to and they should not be able to access it. A password is a good idea. i tried to do it but the macro for copying data wont work.

Can someone help me do this?

    Re: Shared workbook

The persons working with the shared workbook should hit Cntrl+S before / after entering any new data and to view the changes done by the other users.

Refer the below links to know more about how to work with shared workbook.

    Re: Shared workbook

Is there a way that I can hide the "Dumpsheet" where we copy data to or password protect it? I tried doing at but it prevented the macro to copy macro to work.

    Re: Shared workbook

Protect the workbook by enabling UserInterfaceonly via vba code with Workbook Open Event.

You should protect the sheets using Macro Only because UserInterFaceOnly can be accessed VBA only.
