    Add NewSheet to Workbook

    Hello,
I am adding a new worksheet by copying one into MyWorkbook, using ALT / E /M ALT+C.
    MyWorkbook has a sub:

    which won't trigger.
    What is wrong here?
    Could you please advise?
    Thanks

IT works when I add a new sheet manually. Does it trigger when you add new sheet manually?

Yes, if I add it manually, than it works.

I just tried it by adding a sheet through VBA and it worked then too. I'm not sure what your key combinations are doing to create a new sheet though.

    Re: Add NewSheet to Workbook

    Hi plans,

Your shortcut key strokes are coping an existing tab in the workbook. This is not adding a new worksheet (small difference I know) so the NewSheet workbook event doesn't execute. There is no event to capture the copying of an existing sheet to the current workbook.
