Currently I have VBA code that changes Pivot charts based on a selection from a list box on a form. I need it to change the code to effect regular charts. The pivot chart is not giving them what they want.
Is this something that can be done?

Generally speaking, dynamic charting is accomplished by using named dynamic ranges. Without seeing the layout of the data, I can't say more.
Here are two articles related to dynamic charting. The first explains how to make a named dynamic range and the second explains how to use them in charts.
