Cannot open csv file without losing leading zeros for mobile phone numbers

    Hi there,

I need to open a workbook (Filepath contained in in C11). The file is saved in csv and the zeros are kept (I can see when I open in notepad) but when you open in excel as a csv the leading zeros are lost! How can I amend so the leading zeros are not lost. I thought of opening the file in notepad and replacing the commas with $ which will work and then I could text delimit to $. But I am not sure how to open a csv file in notpad using excel vba. Any suggestions welcome.
