I want formula to calculate the total of Q1,Q2,Q3 to get same result as already got result from quarter wise.
=SUM((B3/24*14)+(C3/24*13)+(D3/24*12))
=Q1/24*14+Q2/24*13+Q3//24*12 = 2726422.957
but i want same result from total of Q1,Q2,Q3 to get same result of 2726422.957

Yes, but what do those numbers represent? Where do they come from? I (and I think some others) do not understand the calculation you are trying to do and why you think that it should be equal to the grand total.Originally Posted by johnmacpro

Please explain your logic. What is the calculation meant to achieve? Where do the numbers 14, 13 and 12 come from? Why should the total be the same as the grand total? None of these things is clear.
IF I undersatand you correctly (and I am not sure that I do!!), what you want is a formula that will (using 12, 13 and 14 - whatever these numbers represent) take 4955480
and give 2726422.957.
You can't.
The formula HAS to depend on the ratio of the values in Q1 : Q2 : Q3 and therefore the only sensible way of getting that is to use the Qs individually.
However, if you can explain what the 12 13 and 14 actually represent, then maybe something is possible....

G10=B10*5/100+C10*2/100+D10*8/100 this is old formula
H10=E10*5/100+2/100+8/100 this is what is expected like this

Even using your "old formula" on the UPS data, you are NOT getting the same answer. G10 = 5.1 and H10 = 4.6

No. read what i said in paragraph 2 of Post 10 What you are asking is not possible, I fear. As I have previously stated your "old" formula didn't give the same answer. Expand the number of decimal places on the 2 5s. One is 5.1 and the other 4.6.
