I'm a bit confused.
In the example your say Year 5, Inv depletes based on Part 2 deficit and 2020 amount for Part 1 24700 - 4240 - 10000 = 10460
What does part 2 have to do with part 1? Why are you using year 3 information for part 1 and year 5 information for part two for a year 5 computation? How did you select 24,700 as the "starting" inventory since it is year 4?
What is the answer you are looking for: when part 1 runs out or when part 2 runs out?
