Macro Crashes Excel when run from Developer ribbon, Not from Immediate Window

Hi All.

On my system, when I run a macro from the immediate window it works fine. If I try to run it from "Developer|Macro|run" it causes excel to crash!!!

I wrote the macro a year ago. It used to work on my system from the Developer ribbon. I tried it on 2 other colleagues' system and it worked fine from the developer ribbon.

I have no Idea???

Yep. All same office versions - 2013

I just added a new sub called "Do Nothing" with nothing between the declaration and end sub statement. This crashes excel when run from Developer|Macro|run. Runs fine from Immediate window

More Info. I added the option to run the macro with a ctrl key... I set the macro to run with CTRL+J. It ran fine. Then I ran it from Developer|Macro|Run and it worked fine... I closed the file and re-opened it. Tried to run from Developer|Macro|Run and it crashed again. I closed / reopened, ran with Ctrl+j and it worked fine. Then ran fine from Deveoper|Macro|Run ...

????
