Plot data depending on the input in a Userform

    Hello world!

See, a data I have to analyse conists of some columns and thousands of rows. The first column indicates the RegisterNumber of some tests, and so I have some rows with the same RegisterNumber but with different tests results (see screenshot). I would like to plot an standard lineal graph (in this case, row E vs. F (y vs. x)) of a determined RegisterNumber so I can visually study how does the test evolves.
For example, I want to plot row E vs F for the RegisterNumber: 6714
I struggle trying to create a UserForm to input the RegisterNumber I want to plot. Would go like: MsgBox: "What Register would you like to plot?".

Could anyone help me out witht this?
    Thanks in advance!!

Does it have to be VBA? I would probably use the built in autofilter feature: http://www.wikihow.com/Use-AutoFilter-in-MS-Excel

    Hi MrShorty,

    Thanks for the quick response.
Thing is I would like to have plot it in a graph as the data comes from some tests and are meant to be used as performance curves.
So basically, once introduced the RegisterNumber, Excel plots all referenced data.

    Thanks

I'm not sure I understand your concern. A scatter chart linked to data in a filtered list should do what you describe (plot data for the selected register number). Unless I am misunderstanding what you are trying to do.

Here's a very quick spreadsheet illustrating the use of autofilter with and XY scatter plot. Try it and see if this is what you are trying to do. If it is not, then explain what it is doing that you don't want it to do, or what it is not doing that you would like it to do.

    Hi MrShorty,

That was not really what I was looking for, but you gave me another perspective and eventually found a good aproximation of what I was searching.
    Thank you!
