Olly, thanks for your response. I am working with several workbooks opened in the same instance of excel and many macros are constantly running. Unfortunately I cannot post the files as they contain proprietary information. I would need some help on what to look for in my vba codes that could trigger this popup. Thanks!
It usually happens when I click on another application and then come back to excel.
Start with a process of elimination. Work out WHICH workbook is causing the error. Close all others.
Now work out which code is causing the error. Post that code.
Just a hunch... Do any of the workbooks contain ribbon customisations? Were these workbooks created in 2007, and you are using 2010?
