    Serial port to Excel (GPS, NMEA)

    Hi,

    I've been working with COM port communication and my USB GPS device. I'm getting good string out with serial monitor software, but somehow not with Excel.
    Problem is that record string returns just empty space and not real NMEA data as it should be doing. You can see that in debug mode: record = "
    and just long yellow box with nothing in it...

    I found solution. Have to put CR and LF before string value from reading...
