Update and release databse

Hi all,

I have a Excel file with multiple sheets, each sheet has a table that is being updated from a Microsoft Access database file.

If I for instance open sheet3 and manually refresh table it's working, but if then I try to go to sheet4 and refresh the table its giving me a message saying that "..doesn't no exist..."; this message it's because the database is being use by sheet3.

If I close the excel file and open it again and do the update starting by sheet3 instead of sheet2, sheet3 it's working and sheet2 it's not (giving me the same message).

Is there any way with VBA code for example, to refresh data of each sheet at time, without the need to open and close the excel file again. Something that can refresh, close or release the database, and continue to next sheet?

Check the data ribbon -> Connections. Connection properties include allow background refresh. Check this off and you won't be able to start one refresh until the other is completed. So a Refresh All should work under these circumstances.

I tried this solution and it doesn't work, either if the option is on or off.
