Auto outlook email copy attachment of excel workbook

I am looking for a way to have a copy of an excel workbook report emailed to me every friday automatically through outlook as an attachment without using windows task scheduler and without the workbook being opened. I am not sure if this is possible but any help would be great.

Forgot to mention that the workbook is stored on windows server 2008 R2 essential as well
