Macro to send an email when a contact from Skype for Business pings me

Hi guys,

I have a request :D

Is there a way somehow to create a macro that will send me an email when someone pings me on Skype for Business?

This is possible?

Being realistic, I wouldn't think so. I believe you can automate sending Skype messages, but I've never tried to do it. However, to send an email when you get Skype input implies you would have to monitor the Skype input stream ... and I'm not sure how you'd go about that. Even if you could do it, your Excel/VBA application would need to be running all the time.

Maybe Google: Excel VBA to monitor Skype and see what you get. The email part is the easy bit.

I have an idea, instead of doing this, because all of these unresponded messages are saved somehow to a conversation history, maybe i can forward what is in conversation history from Outlook to my email. This can be done via outlook macro?
