    Change Focus Multiple Instances Excel

I have two projects, each one in its own workbook.

Workbook #1 opens with Worksheet #1 showing.
Workbook #2 opens with only a UserForm showing (the workbook is minimized).

When using Alt/Tab to change focus to one or the other project - how can I get the focused project to appear 'on top' of the unfocused project ? Bring the focused project forward, move the unfocused project back ? Presently, this does not occur.

Is there vba to accomplish this, or a setting in Excel that I'm missing ?

    Hope I explained this well.

    Thanks.

If I'm understanding you right, you want the user form (in workbook #2) to show over Workbook#1?

Why can't the userform be in Workbook #1?

Yes, workbook 1 to show over the form, and when switching back, form over workbook.

Form can't be in workbook, that project is separate and is also a stand alone. May not always be used in conjunction with workbook.

    Thanks for reply.

It seems that once I post a question, I find something on the 'net that might be an answer.

Well, I found something but it doesn't work for Excel 2007. I wonder if this works for anyone else ?

Okay ... now the the FORUM is back up and running ...

    I'm experimenting with PFDave's suggestion, #2 above.

Out of curiosity, I'm testing opening a workbook (#2) in another directory, from workbook #1. WB#1 accesses wb#2 via a Userform - and performing a query of data.

The query is returned, but when the Listbox (displaying returns of all the possible data items) is clicked, WB#1 minimizes. This is not good.

How can I get WB#1 to remain visible ?

Solved the problem with the edit highlighted below. Does anyone see any problems with this approach ??
