Mark errors in sorted rows

Hi all,

can't solve this problem by myself and would like to ask for help:

In a very huge list, I have to check, whether the rows are sorted correctly or not. The macro should do this:

For every row in a specific range, e.g. B4:MJ2300, check whether the numbers (or number ranges) are sorted in ascending order or not
If there is an error, mark this cell in red.
Problem is: the are not only numbers, but number ranges, for example: "5f" (which means 5 and 6), "74ff" (which means 74, 75 and 76), 94-97 (which means 94, 95, 96, 97), 123-345 etc.

I have attached a file with an example. Please have a look!
