This is complicated.
I have created a form in Excel with lots of macros (to make the magic of the form to happen) that is used by many users all over our network. The file has an open workbook macro that runs a bunch of things in the background before the file opens. For most people this works great and opens just like it is supposed to but for some (and it is random) they are getting the following error "Run-time error '32809': application-defined or object defined error" when we select Debug it is getting hung up on the open workbook macro that is calling for a particular tab to activate [sheets("General Info - Estimates Entry").activate]. I have googled this and many forums say that it more than likely is a system updating patches issue. I called my IT department and confirmed that if the users are restarting there computers every night and or asking for the updates (laptop users) then they will and are getting the network update patches. So what else could this be? Why would it work on some computers and not on others? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven
