    Question Intermittent Unspecified Runtime Error

    Hi All!

Hoping I can borrow some brain power from you guys as I'm at my wits end here. I've got an odd run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)' that occurs once every once in a while, like 1 time per day on each users computer. The weird thing is that once the error occurs if the Sub is re-run it's fine for the rest of the day! As it's an Unspecified error I have no idea what line the errors occurring on.... Please note I'm new to VBA and really trying to learn so please keep that in mind. Doing my best to learn as quickly as possible.

    Thanks in advance!

When you get the error and click Debug is a line highlighted?

Not much code to go wrong really. Personally, I'd split the two Do Loops into separate lines and put Debug.Print commands in between each line of code. Add whatever information might be helpful.

    Or, possibly, use Debug.Assert: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/DebuggingVBA.aspx

    Hi Norie & TMS,

    Thanks for your responses!

Norie - The line highlighted is:

TMS - Debug.Pring is a new command to me. I've never heard of it before, so I'll ready through the link you provided and try it out.

Thanks both very much! I'll keep trying to figure this out, and if your suggestions give me any more info I'll post it.
