I posted this early, but cannot find it. I have a workbook that has two sheets in it. AGING and JOBCOST. The aging report has a column for Invoice numbers, The JOBCOST has a column called References... I need to know how to create a code that will match them... the data in the reference column is the invoice number but it has INV in front of it, so I cannot run a traditional vlookup. Once they are matched I need the data from the column EXP_1 copied over into the matching row in the Job description column on the AGING sheet. I hope this makes sense to someone. I had a similar situation last week, but I cannot figure out how to apply it to this one. I have attached the sheet.
