Multiple hyperlinks from local folder

Hi all experts, I just went through with the forum replies and impressed :D !

I am stuck on a place where I need about 20,000 image links(hyperlinks) from a local hard drive folder to an excel file, the file will be in the same folder. I use mac. excel version 2011.

Can we get this whole process automated by any means ? Will really really appreciate any help on this.

Ow, my knowledge in excel is very basic. Can get formulas done but nothing fancy (macros, VBA) but I can follow instructions :D

Marc L, TS using Mac and as far as I know function Dir() is not working for Mac the same way as in Win.

Sorry guys, I am really a noob on this. Any way you can tell me where and how to do this ? my work has been stuck for a week trying to get this done.

Try this one, but change strPath value to your real folder

As here it's a Windows forum …

• He can read VBA inner help and first try himself from the sample … And there are so many samples in threads !

• He must create his thread in the appropriate MAC section …

Because you didn`t write a proper path, try this one

Thank you for your help. Getting the same error. when I click debug one of the lines get highlighted. Thought might help

Just replace Windows like StrPath by a valid MAC path, check on your system …

HAve checked and it still gives the same error.
