    Adding descriptions from a table to a text box

    Hello all,

    I'm currently using the code below to paste shapes into a chart based on date location:

    It works fine, but I'm hoping to include the descriptions from the Data Inputs tab underneath its corresponding shape. I tried testing with the .AddTextbox method to just insert "Test", but to no avail.

    Any help is apprecaited; sample workbook can be referenced as well.

    As an option you can add Comment to the cell you paste the shape.

    That is true, but I would rather the comment show under the shape so that a user can identify what the shape corresponds to vs. hovering over with a cursor to see the contents.

    Ok, but you can turn on "Show All Comments" and there will be no need to place cursor over the cells.
    By the way if this description is a long text - those comments will cover each other (when shapes are situated close)

    Hoping to have this as dynamic - that is, I wouldn't need to insert the comments manually. Still leaning towards the VBA method.

    Comments can be added by VBA (red code)

    I like the idea, just not the aesthetics of the results. I was hoping to do something similar with text boxes, but the method for adding text boxes doesn't seem as easy as the .addcomment method.
