Add unique names to list 1 from list 2

hi,

i have two list contain names data,

1st list is at active workbook sheet name.("Total") and 2nd list is at closed workbook.name(defined by me using msgbox) sheet name.("Total").

both list are in column b4:b150

i want to add unique names in list 1 from list 2 closed book...

A sample workbook would be really appreciated.
Is first list empty when you start the import?

I don't believe you can add a workbook name with a message box unless you use the message box to trigger some code that adds the name. Maybe you mean InputBox like this.

your code is working perfectly, but i need some changes in your code,

plz set the file path, only open a inputbox for only file name

file path is = "Z:\42766\Jan 2 Dec 2014\1.12.16"
set above path

now i will only type file name and he will get data
