Re: macro to re arrange cells

I don't see the logic behind why you are rearranging the data in Column E? Can you explain why the data in column E gets moved to and from the cells?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi excelhelpseeker

Will the individual Debit and Credit line item amounts ALWAYS be equal...it doesn't happen in the real world...does it in yours?
If it does I MAY be able to help.
    John

Re: macro to re arrange cells

no .. it would be of any dynamic range ....

In C column , there are 2 categories

    ZBA TRANSFER TO 00483043105369
    and
    ZBA TRANSFER TO acc num

for total number of ZBA TRANSFER TO 00483043105369, there are equal ZBA TRANSFER TO 3144. (in file, there are 4 lines each)

same for ZBA TRANSFER TO acc num with ZBA TRANSFER FROM 3144.

Now what i want is in E column, corresponding account needs to be changed as diplayed in output.. PLS help

    .

Re: macro to re arrange cells

    Hi excelhelpseeker

Looking for a Hook. In your Sample File the Debit and Credit Amounts are ALWAYS equal and they are always grouped together (Debits are sequential and Credits are sequential).
    What you appear to have.jpg

If this is not the case in the real world you'll need to attach a File that demonstrates your actual environment.

What's your real world look like?
