    Matching Values

In my spreadsheet I have two values, Column A being 900 and Column B Charlie. When those values in column A and B match I want column C to have a value of Great. If these two values do no match nothing should be populated into column C.

    900 Charlie
    900 Charlie
    650 Charlie

    What I want
    900 Charlie Great
    900 Charlie Great
    650 Charlie

    Re: Matching Values

Do you mean you want to identify where two or more row records are exactly the same?

    Re: Matching Values

    Hi,

If data starts in row 1, then paste this formula in C1 and then drag down. If it starts on another row just change the 1's.
The value part is not needed if A is numerical, but I thought this way both cases are covered.

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Re: Matching Values

I want to identify column A for an exact value of 900 and column B exact for an exact value of Charlie. To then give me a result of Great to be populate into column C

I'm in need of a macro. The spreadsheet I'm working with cannot have a formula in column C
