Using Round does not seem to be working

    Using Round does not seem to be working

    hi al,
    I have numbr

    x=0.25

    when i use

    Round(x,1)

    the value i get is 0.2 when expecte 0.3

    any idea what is going on?

    When the decimal is exactly 0.5 Excel defaults to rounding down - obviously it has to round one way or the other.
    If you want to round up then use
    =ROUNDUP(x,1)

    It's a Bankers’ Rounding.

    If there are two nearest integers then it goes to the even one.

    So better use worksheetfunction.round for the safety...

    in excel vba.

    I'd go for VBA equivalent.
