Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

If I give you Power Query (Get & Transform Data) code, and you don't know what to do with it, then CLICK HERE

    not sure i understand fully
    can you

Please upload a small clean sample of your data / workbook (not a picture) to the forum, Make sure you have removed any private information, remember this is a public forum and so available to anyone
We would like to see an example of your data and also a manual mock up of the expected results you want to achieve.

To attach a file to your post,
click "Go advanced" (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage Attachments",
click that and select "Choose File" (top Left corner).
Find your file, click "Open" click "upload" click 'close windows" Top Right. click "Submit Reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

however, if the dates are formatted as mm-dd-yyyy
then its NOT possible to change that to mean the same date in dd-mm-yyyy

you can change the format OK
    BUT
if the date is 1/12/16 and could be in either format
then you will not know what the date should have been
should it be 1st Dec or 12th Jan
excel will use a number from 1/1/1900 to determine the date
