    Reinstall Printer Driver Broke Macro

    Hi All,

I was having printer issues so I uninstalled my printer driver and now this Macro doesn't work. Please see the current macro below. As soon as the printer was installed it was broken. Then, I updated the Macro from on "ne01" TO on "USB001" during trhoubleshooting as the port for the printer seems to have changed. Any ideas why this isn't working anymore.

I am getting the following error message:

    Run-time error '1004':

Method 'ActivePrinter" of object '_Application' failed

    Les

Cheers, have a look here, it will make your code more resilient to this kind of thing in future as it gets the port number automatically from the printer name http://www.excelforum.com/tips-and-t...excel-vba.html

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately that code is way over my head so I am having a hard time isolating what portion I could incorporate into my code. Its confusing to me that the port switched from NE01 to USB001.

    Usually I see NE00 or NE02
