Need advice: Change VBA codes on worksheet without opening VBA Editor

Hi guys,

I am extremely new in using Macro in Excel as I don't really need it very often. But right now I am asked to do something with it and I have spent hours googling for solution but came out with nothing very helpful.

I need help with something: Let's say I'm creating a macro that'll run "A", "B" and "C" in cell A1, B1 and C1 respectively. Is it possible for me to type in some codes, so that when I change "A" in the worksheet to "D", the VBA code will update automatically in the sense that when I delete the whole thing and rerun the macro, it'll generate "D" in cell A1 instead?

Would really appreciate any help. I'm very weak in programming, have no basic in it, and am sort of desperate.
