Splash Page With Username and/or Password Protected Sheets

I'm wanting to create a workbook that has a splash page and multiple hidden (or very hidden... I don't know the difference) worksheets. From the splash page, I'd like users to be able to click a button to "enter" their portion of the workbook. I'm thinking when they click the button, they would be prompted to enter username and/or password. Depending on what they enter, specific sheets would be made visible for them to utilize, make edits, etc.

If I need to make a dummy workbook for an example, let me know. But for the sake of this post, Sheet 1 could contain the splash page and Sheets 2 & 3 could be the two hidden Sheets for 1 user to access. I think if someone can make that one example, I could expand on it to suit my needs.

The attached sample project has password protected sheets of which I do not have the password. Sorry.
You will need to use the code in your own project, but alot of the attached can be copied and pasted.

The initial password code for the splash screen is : Username Dave1 Password dave1

Sorry for the delayed response but my job duties have pulled me away from my Excel play time. I will try this once I'm able to get a free moment. Thanks for the assistance!

Re: Splash Page With Username and/or Password Protected Sheets

I wasn't able to get this work for me. It operates fine but I need something where I can build off of it. I need VBA for dummies... haha.

I've attached a simple workbook here that shows the way I need it laid out. If you can add the code to this example, I'm pretty confident that I can expand it to suit my needs.

Can you or anyone help with this one?

Yes and no... no one replied directly to me here, as you can see but I actually found an older post via Google (go figure... Google knows everything!) and the thread was closed but I sent a private message to the person that solved the request and he was able to provide me with an example workbook that is customizable. It's nearly perfect for me. Did you have an answer also or were you looking for the same thing?

I put together a couple of examples, and thought if you hadn't found anything I would share with you.

I wouldn't mind seeing them. Would you upload them for me to see? I could share this other with you also. Maybe it would benefit you, as well. I'm on my mobile device now but will be available again tomorrow.
