    Snaking Columns, Retaining Formatting

    Hello,

I know that Snaking Columns is not a feature built into Excel and I've search the Internet for a week testing different solutions, and I haven't found the right one yet.
I'd be really thankful if anyone can help me.

I want to take the data from one sheet, and run a macro that creates a new sheet with the same data in snaking column arrangement, with 2 sets of data side by side.
It's important that the formatting is retained or replicated.

The columns to be manipulated are C:L.

74 rows fit on one printed page.

EDIT: Also, if possible, I would like it so that if there is any text in a row in column C, D:L of that row are cleared. AND if there is any text in column C, and that row is at the bottom of the page, it would be great if that row could be pushed to the next page. (It's like a header, so I'd like the header to be grouped with at least one proceeding row of its group if possible).

Thanks so much for your time!

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have assumed that was common knowledge.

It's a technique for distributing long information on pages to reduce page printing.

    Hello HWScott,

The Columns you are referring to contain #Ref! Errors.

Could you please include a sample Sheet with your desired outcome of "Snaking Columns", since I have no idea what you mean by that?

    Thank you.

Do you want data of columns C:L to be copied with new sheet?

I remember reading about snaked columns many years ago on David MacRitchie's site, here:

Hopefully you'll find something of use there.
