Unhappy Need Event Procedure to Unlock a Protect Cell if Criteria is Met

Attached is a clip of the cells in question.

    Help.PNG

I need to create an event procedure to unlock a cell if criteria is met.
B16 (highlighted) is the result of what is entered in cells C16:I16
The worksheet is protected so only cells C16:I16 can be changed and B16 is locked.
If B16 doesn’t result in an answer, it pops up as “Please Enter”, which means the user must manually enter a result.
For this, I need to unlock B16 if it says "Please Enter".

As you can see in the clip, there are many cells I need to do this for (B16:B20 and in the next column J16:J20)

I have tried researching this but it is difficult for me to follow other examples because they are all so specific.

    Thank you!

Put this code into the module for the sheet containing this data. I would be happy to test it if I had your file but it would take some time to start from scratch to make a file like yours.

By the way, your approach could cause problems if the prompt "Please Enter" can appear before the user has entered all necessary data in C:I.

An image attachment has very little value. Just attach the Excel file. It's easier than taking a screenshot first and then attaching that. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button. On the next screen scroll down and click on Manage Attachments, which will show a pop-up window to Select and Upload a file. Then close the window.
