VBA Code: Dialogue for FileOpen and Saveas on Specific File Path

I am hoping that someone can assist. I need a VBA code that will prompt the user to open an excel file from one folder and save as an XML or any type of file for that matter in another folder.

So for example, Open folder on File Path A, Select excel File, Open and Save as XML file (or any other file) in File Path B.

Any suggestions?

I tried this but it's not giving me the option to save as an XML file, only different types of excel files.

Odd, on my system it shows much more than just excel files, xml, html, csv etc all show up

You may need to make sure that excel is associated with xml files in windows I suppose. Try right clicking an xml file in windows explorer, and choose open with. Does excel show up? If not then manually choose another app, and use excel to open it. Does that change anything?
