Change number to word when pasted into a cell

Hi all,

Is there a way to automatically change a number to a work when its placed into a cell from an array. There's a possibility that the cell it's pasting 'from' contains one or the other and I would like it to always be a word when pasted.

i.e.

If 1 is copied then paste A
If 2 is copied then Paste B
If C is copied then paste C

I do have a column of all the possible numbers and a column for their corresponding word.

Hi John,

It wont let me upload the Excel book for some reason so I've had to screen shot an example of both pages.
