    How to Save Excel to your own desired file extension

    Hello all,

    Newbie question. Is it allowed in excel vba to change the file extension to your own liking that is not standard MS office file format? say .exe .xxx .etc. I have tried this code but it's not working.

    Save it standard way and immediately rename a file to whatever you need with a code similar to (I hope it works on Mac too - I tested it only in Win environment)
