Proximate matching or grouping

Hi,
I am stuck with really annoying problem. I have an excel sheet contains about 25000 rows. It is basically addresses and owner names. The issue I am having is some of the addresses are the same but written differently, for example: 150 County Road 254 is also written 150 CR 254... etc. The same applies to owner names. I am desperately looking for a code or a method that helps me categories similar addresses and names (maybe 50% match) by giving them the same group number. Then I will filter using the group number and unify the addresses and names. I installed the "Fuzzy Lookup" function but it didn't help me.
I am open to any suggestions, or any help that could solve my issue.

150 County Road 254 is also written 150 CR 254

"Fuzzy matching" will not help with that... for an example (that may help you, but I doubt it as it was used for place names only, not full addresses), see http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...ace-names.html
