pdf creator not autofit

I have a routine that uses pdf creator to generate pdf files. There is a macro autofiting some of the columns before the pdf button is pressed. Autofitting seems working on the sheet however when I open the print preview and the autofitting effect is not showing at all and subsequently the pdf file is also squished.

Anyone knows what possible causes are and how to fix them? Many thanks in advance!

The zoom is set to 100% and it's set to fit to 1 page.

The problem is this file is coded in java api (with codes like <js: ,which I think it's jxls) in the template. To make it more complicated it's using a commercially purchased software to extra the data. To make it really more complicated the report is run in Azure ( I wonder if that would cause the problem?) I use vba to autofit columns and it looks alright on the sheet however when you press print preview it looks like the autofit was undone and subsequently the pdf is squished.

I think I may have to give up on this lol. My last try.

The page is set to 1 page. The excel file works fine on my computer when I just use regular pdf export. Since I don't have pdf creator myself, I can not test it. The problem occurs on another computer on another network which uses the 3rd party software to extract data (with an interface to select the template). The template then populates the report with a build in VBA for pdf creator to print out a pdf file. The report is run in Azure ( I don't know what exactly it is except it's a cloud computing service). So I am trying to figure out where the problem is first.
