Search button/Find Box which brings up information

Hi, I would like a Search box on the front page of a database that we have.

Preferably, I want to have a text box where you have to type the telephone number in and then a search box that you press and then it brings that entry up in the workbook.

Each customer has its own sheet with the numbers that they have with us so either when you press search it jumps and then brings up that specific field in the customers own sheet with that number in or I could create a master list with every customers number and when you press search it then brings up that field in the master list sheet.

I have been trying to do this for so long and to no avail so if somebody could help me, that'd be great!

Perhaps an idea would be to use index match for Customer Name and index match for Mobile Number without having to put buttons. All they have to do is put the name or number to get the match.

How would you do that?

Could you please post your file? When replying to go advanced and upload it. Make sure there is not sensitive information on it. If you have to make a copy of it and put some data examples. I'm sure someone here can help you. I will be back soon.

To attach a file reply to the thread. Look down the page for 'Go Advanced' and find 'Manage Attachments'. Click on that and it brings you to another page. There you browse for the file and click upload. When the file is there close that window. Then submit your reply.

See how an array can help you pull information from another sheet. In sheet 2 you put the name and all the information from sheet 1 fills in.
